Congestion Charging... What is it?
The £8 daily congestion charge is a tax imposed on the motorist by the Mayor of London. It will reduce traffic, making journeys and delivery times more reliable. Fortunately Novotel London West is not in the congestion charge zone. However, if you are driving through central London to the exhibition, you may need to pay the charge. You can pay it in advance on the internet or on the phone (0845 900 1234). Alternatively you can plan your route to avoid the charge.
... Where is it?
The congestion charging zone covers the most central, heavily congested part of London.
... When is it?
The congestion charge applies from 7.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public Holidays. The charge does not apply at weekends. If you are driving to Preview you can pre-pay your charge on the internet, but you can also plan your route to avoid this.
