Preview 2010 London Reduced In Size But Not In Quality
Coin-Op News Europe - Vol. 25 No. 10 October 2009

Preview has a rich 30-year history of proven quality and service. The organisers have stated they “don’t need to tell you what a good show we had, how visitor numbers were up and orders were taken”.
They have decided to leave that to their customers:
“The Preview show had a much better feel about it this year. Pushers have performed really well in the last 12 months and this gave customers the confidence to purchase for the coming season. Our new pusher fast coin delivery system caused a lot of interest, which resulted in better than anticipated orders. Redemption continues to sell and we are quoting many of our customers for machines they have seen at Preview. Preview was an encouraging start to the 2010 season.”
Harry Levy – Harry Levy Amusements
“The Preview show turned out to be much better than we had hoped for. We had a particular product to promote and it went down extremely well. Thanks to the timing of Preview we now have a head start selling our product and we don’t have to wait until the January shows. So we were really pleased to be there, it was very good for us and definitely worth it!”
Michael Green – UDC
“This was the first time we exhibited at Preview and we found the experience very positive. Our products were well received and there was a good level of interest not only from the UK but from some other countries as well. We got a good number of enquiries and found the show to be focussed and meaningful.”
Brian Costigan – Almotech
“A successful exhibition, especially in this economic climate, lays tribute to a tri-part contribution: the right location, the right exhibitors and, most importantly, the right visitors. This year's Preview delivered all three. Although working with a reduced exhibition area, Preview attracted high quality visitors.”
Tony Eyre – Nova Productions
“Although Preview was on just one floor this year, the attendance figures were high and the quality of people that I saw was the best in years. From arcade to bingo and casino, we saw a very wide range of customers on our stand – particularly on the first day. And it was refreshing to find that there wasn’t as much doom and gloom as there has been in the past.”
Alan Rogers – Astra Games
“In terms of the exhibition providing a showcase for showing our products, meeting operators and key decision makers, the Preview show was successful, although Thursday’s attendance was somewhat disappointing.“
Robert Higgins – Gamesoft
