Preview 2010 Delivers Again 1 of 2 Game Time International No. 89 - November 2009
Organized by Howard & Wikberg Promotions, Preview 2010 took place at Novotel London West recently and ended smoothly. The Event accommodated close to 40 exhibition companies. Preview is always well positioned in the show calendar to provide a point of reference for the coin-op industry after the summer season. The visiting audience included local trade professionals as well as industry members from Spain, Italy and Germany. The Preview show which is held each year in October provides the British gaming industry with opportunities for networking and promotion.
Mostly British exhibitors and products At this year's Preview show, four companies made their debut including Almotech, BetXTech and CashXTech, Cogan and Nova Productions. Almotech is the leading manufacturer of online jukeboxes and digital music management systems to the home, hospitality and leisure industries. Almotech showcased a new line of online jukeboxes such as Eclipse and Mini Mystro jukebox. BetXTech specialises in providing betting applications that enable No-risk Sports Betting for LBO licensees operating from Adult Gaming Centres, bingo halls and casinos. CashXTech is a leading European gaming payments solution provider specialising in Self-Service Payment EPOS solutions or Voucher Redemption Terminals for casinos, arcades and adult gaming centres. Italy-based Cogan presented their first licensed kiddie ride to the UK.
Several famous British firms drew a lot of attention at Preview 2010. Astra Games displayed Category B3 and Category C products targeting the UK marketplace. Barcrest Group's games included reel-based and video-based titles covering categories B2, B3, C and D, which offered an abundant feast for the eyes of visitors. At Brent Sales' stand were a wide array of products from Bandai - Namco, Chicago Gaming Company, Fantasy, I.C.E., Play Mechanix, Raw Thrills, Jennison and more. Electrocoin distributes games for Konami, Stern, Incredible Technologies, Taito World Golf Systems and Elmac, so games from these game developers were seen at Electrocoin's stand and there were AWPs, slot machines, video games and pinball machines. Harry Levy Amusements exhibited an exciting range of pusher, skill games and redemption machines. Sega Europe showcased new Hummer twin driving game and its new 'Sonic Allstars' range for their pan European launch. In addition, a range of pushers, redemption & novelty equipment and prize games was displayed.
