Barcrest Reflects On A Very Positive Preview 2010 Coinslot No. 2131 30th October - 5th November 2009
TRY BEFORE YOU BUY SHOW REPORT
Barcrest Group has reported a “very positive reaction” to its new games at the recent Preview. The models were supported by its distributors MDM Leisure and Crown Direct/Deith Leisure.
MDM’s stand featured a number of Triple 7 machines, including Seventh Heaven, Super Slots 500 and community game Captain Jackpot’s Treasure Troves. The firm’s Mark Lewis commented: “We wanted Triple 7 on the front of our stand because we knew it would be the star of the show. This definitely proved to be the case, as we went on to take orders for over 100 machines - a great result from our sales team who were totally behind this great product.”
Barcrest products were well represented on the Crown/Deith stand, particularly Captain Jackpots Treasure Troves and Elvis 5- Liner in the Horizon Plus Cabinet. Deith’s Kevin Temple explained: “Captain Jackpots Treasure Troves is very striking and different and created a lot of interest among our visitors, as did Elvis 5-Liner, with its midtech game style, which was an immediate hit with arcade operators.”
Crown and MDM also demonstrated the manufacturer’s ‘Try before you Buy’ promotion, which allows customers to sample new Triple 7 category B3 games for a period of 60 days before making a decision to purchase the game, at a cost of only £2.50 per game, per day. Crown Jewels, The Price is Right and Rainbow Riches Fields of Gold are included in the promotion and customers can choose any game, or all three.
Tim Kennedy, sales and commercial director, summarised: “We were delighted with the feedback we received from visitors and our distributors supported and promoted our products with great enthusiasm. It was a very successful show for Barcrest Group.”
