ELECTROCOIN Electrocoin has something for everyone Whether visitors are looking for the latest in Category C, novelty and redemption, pinball or video equipment, they will find plenty to please them amongst Electrocoin’s Preview offering.
STAND CH14 CHAMPAGNE SUITE
They say variety is the ‘spice of life’ and that certainly sums up the varied range of new products on show at Preview from Electrocoin.
In fact, this is just a taste of what is to come as Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir confirmed: “Whilst we have a significant number of products that are either in production or about to commence distribution, we also have some ‘previews’ of exciting new games that will be available from January at EAG.”
One product that is raring to go is Konami’s GTI Club 2. The off-road classic has been updated to incorporate some brand new street courses, and Weir confirmed that the handbrake turns are once again a major feature of the game.
GTI Club 2 will be on show alongside the latest dance game from Konami, DDRX, which is already proving itself to be a winner. To complete the line-up from Konami, Guitar Hero will be attracting many admirers, particularly those that have already seen the benefit from the cash box.
Electrocoin will launch a brand new concept from Taito at Preview 2010; Hopping Road is a brand new two-player pogo stick game that has proven itself after extensive and rigorous site testing. It is proving to be a great fun game for players of all ages and makes for a refreshing new concept in the marketplace.
Also from Taito, Panic Museum is another machine making its debut. Although the European version will not be available until shortly after Preview, once again testing has proven to be excellent and as a result there is already demand for this brand new shooting game.
The new £1/£70 stake and prize level has already seen a number of successes for Electrocoin, particularly in the pub sector, where the company has now established itself as a major manufacturer, developing models with player appeal and site longevity. Alongside the very successful Lucky Leprechaun will be the latest addition to the portfolio, Treble Jackpots, which is already performing very well. For the arcade sector, X Games, featuring a range of classic and new Bar X-type games, will be shown for the first time in twin-screen format, in the new Gemstar Cabinet.
To continue the varied line-up of equipment, World Golf System’s X Putt will also be shown after a successful launch at ATEI. The game is now available in a new three- piece format for ease of transportation, however, the overall presentation remains the same and its proven performance continues to attract attention, particularly as the game can be played for prizes, fun or tickets.
For the customers looking to move into redemption, Elmac’s Galileo and redemption management systems will also be shown, demonstrating the latest software developments that are making them the premier choice for many arcades up and down the land.
Weir added: “To complete the line-up, it wouldn’t be Preview without the latest Stern Pinball. From the successful TV series, Stern has launched 24, a game that has something for pinball fanatics and followers of the US show alike. I think it unlikely that anyone can visit the Electrocoin stand and not find something that will be of significant interest this year.”
GAMES WAREHOUSE Games Warehouse to unveil three of the best Three is the magic number for Games Warehouse at Preview 2010, where it will reveal three now products on the stands of its three distribution partners.
Games Warehouse is represented at this year’s Preview by its new distributor line-up. Established partner Wessex Coin is joined by AMG Leisure and MDM Leisure as the Nottingham-based SWP market leader launches an all- out assault on the Category C and Category B3 gaming machine sectors with two new ‘high impact’ products.
Evolution is the stunning twin- screen multigame terminal, seen publicly for the first time at last month’s FER Interazar exhibition in Madrid, where it was launched into the Spanish video AWP market. Evolution introduces a three-part Category C Games Menu with fruit machines, vegas slots and casino games, and these three groups currently deliver a total of 15 individual game concepts. The Category B3 games menu delivers six games in total. Both versions of Evolution are multi-stake (10p, 25p, 50p and £1) and high ‘hit’ rates are maintained throughout for greater player appeal and interaction.
Winner has been specifically developed for the arcade and bingo sectors where the traditional ‘casino-style’ slot machines, with their fast and simple games, have far greater player acceptance. The six games in the Winner games menu are mostly random and feature very high ‘hit’ rates for improved action and excitement.
Finally, the trio of distributors will all be demonstrating Paragon TT-09, which will be loaded with brand new game software and the now proven cashbox boosters of networked connectivity and national tournament participation. The latest Paragon software (V5.1) is also proven as all the new games (Eliminator, Battleships and By Any Means) have been downloaded to connected terminals, where they have delivered immediate ‘spikes’ to the cashbox performance. Games Warehouse is despatching the new v5.1 disks to operators of unconnected machines later this week, whilst those with connected machines can look forward to the first of the v5.2 games being downloaded before the end of October.
All three of these exciting products - complete with their array of new features and content - are being demonstrated on all three of the distributors’ stands and supported by on-stand Games Warehouse sales personnel. There are also exciting offers and commercial terms to learn about, some of which are exclusive to the Preview event, and the teams from AMG, MDM, Wessex and Games Warehouse look forward to passing on the great news.
