Preview Organisers Institute Zero Tolerance Policy On Aisle Trading Coinslot No. 2126 25th September - 1st October 2009
Preview organisers institute zero-tolerance policy on aisle trading Although aisle trading has never been allowed at the Preview exhibition, this year its organisers will be working extra hard to ensure fair trading conditions for registered exhibitors.
AISLE BE DAMNED PREVIEW 2010
Ahead of next month’s Preview 2010 exhibition, organiser Howard & Wikberg has issued a statement to inform visitors that selling in the aisles of the exhibition will not be tolerated at this year’s event. In order to support the companies that have taken a stand at the show, a zero-tolerance policy on aisle trading has been introduced.
Howard & Wikberg’s Philip Howard explained: “Exhibitors have complained to us that there are visitors who do not take stands but who approach buyers nonetheless. It is clearly not fair for those who have made the investment of bringing their products to the show to find competitors handing out brochures in the aisles and showing product from briefcases.
“We would like to say categorically now that in response to the complaints from the exhibitors we have a zero tolerance policy in place, so if you wish to sell at Preview, you should book a stand and be part of the show otherwise just stay away. We do however wish to welcome all visitors who come to network, buy and meet friends and associates at the show.”
Signs warning visitors not to sell in the aisles will be placed around the show floor at Preview 2010, as has been the case in previous years.
