Brent Roadshow Kicks Off Press Release - 8th June 2009
Brent Sales embarks on its Big Truck Stop Tour of Britain this week with regional sales managers John Crompton and Geoff Spencer taking their travelling show of ‘Star Performers’ to major coastal resorts across June and July.
Playing host to a number of new headline videogames including Nirin and H2Overdrive, which will be unveiled in their final production model format for the first time, the 40-tonne articulated showroom will also feature some of Brent’s highest flying prize merchandising games such as Clena-Flex, Barber Cut (DX and Lite) and a comprehensive range of ICE redemption/novelty equipment.
Adding a further element of fun, this year’s tour will also incorporate a football ‘keep it up’ competition, which tour managers John and Geoff looking to scout around for and reward the industry’s best soccer stars, assisted on some of the legs by Brent Electronic’s Darrell Simmonds.
Commenting on the Star Performers tour, John Crompton said: “We will be offering some great deals and irresistible offers to help operators make the most of what finally appears to be the makings of a very productive season. Being closest to our customer is a primary goal at Brent – and you can’t get much closer than driving the showroom to their very doorstep. The past 12 months have been a rough ride for nearly every business in this industry and there’s never been a more important time to stand shoulder to shoulder with operators.”
Geoff Spencer added: “There certainly won’t be any lack in performance as far as tour product is concerned, but what we also want to discover is how much talent is out there on the ball juggling front. In true roadie fashion, we’ll have our own Top Gear-style leader board for the competition and prizes on offer for the best attempts. This will be open to bona fide customers and their employees only and we’ll be keeping a close eye on anyone trying to put forward a ringer!”
