Keeping the Fair Fair
Howard & Wikberg, organisers of the Preview show are warning visitors that no selling in the aisles of the exhibition will be tolerated this year.
“Exhibitors have complained that there are visitors who do not take stands but who approach buyers nonetheless. It is clearly not fair for those who have made the investment of bringing their products to the show to find competitors handing out brochures and showing product from briefcases,” says Philip Howard.
“We would like to say categorically now that in response to the complaints from the exhibitors we have a zero tolerance policy in place, so if you wish to sell at Preview, you will simply have to book a stand and be part of the show. We do of course wish to welcome all visitors who come to network, buy and meet friends and associates at the show.”
There will be signs at the Preview warning visitors not to sell in the aisles, as there have been in previous years.
